Two teenage U.S. citizens were on their way to submit Marine Corps enlistment paperwork when they began filming ICE activity in Alamo, Texas. ICE pepper-sprayed both teenagers. Footage shows one pulled from their car and repeatedly punched on the ground. Both were detained for roughly eight hours. Seventeen-year-old Luis Ochoa says he told agents he was a citizen. Their response: “I don’t give a damn.… Your parents can’t help you now.” This is why PAXIS.app exists: people need to understand their rights when the agents entrusted to uphold them become the threat.
