01

Reach your core community

Put new updates in the server where your most engaged audience already gathers.

02

Keep media attached

Carry supported images, links, and eligible videos with the post instead of sharing bare copy.

03

Avoid noisy mentions

Publish safely with automatic user, role, and everyone mentions disabled.

How it works

Add Discord to the publishing workflow you already use

Discord is a destination in Ferryman. Connect one server channel, add Discord to an eligible flow or composed post, and continue creating at your normal origin.

  1. 01

    Authorize an incoming webhook

Choose the Discord server channel that should receive Ferryman posts.

  2. 02

    Select Discord as a destination

Add Discord to an automatic sync flow, direct post, draft, or schedule.

  3. 03

    Publish without copy-pasting

Ferryman delivers each eligible post to the connected channel.

Platform support

What Ferryman supports with Discord

The exact behavior depends on the content, connected account, destination requirements, and Ferryman plan.

01

Text and links

Send text up to 2,000 characters per message while preserving eligible links.

02

Image attachments

Upload supported images with attachment descriptions when available.

03

Video attachments

Deliver eligible videos within Ferryman's conservative 10 MiB Discord attachment limit.

04

Long-post splitting

Split longer social posts into multiple Discord messages instead of truncating the update.

05

Mention suppression

Prevent webhook content from automatically pinging users, roles, or everyone.

06

Immediate and scheduled publishing

Use Discord in automatic flows, direct creation, drafts, and schedules.

Platform details

Discord is a publishing destination

  • Ferryman does not read Discord messages or use Discord as an automatic origin.
  • The incoming webhook posts only to the channel selected during OAuth.
  • Discord's hosted authorization screen controls which eligible server channels are available.
  • Attachments that exceed Ferryman's 10 MiB Discord limit are rejected so the failed destination can be reviewed.

Discord questions, answered

Can Ferryman publish to Discord?

Yes. Ferryman can send supported text, links, images, and video attachments to the Discord server channel selected during connection.

Can Discord be an automatic origin?

No. Ferryman publishes to Discord through an incoming webhook but does not read Discord messages as an automatic origin.

How does the Discord connection work?

Discord OAuth creates an incoming webhook for the server channel you select. Ferryman encrypts the webhook credential and uses it only for destination publishing.

What are the Discord publishing limits?

Discord messages support up to 2,000 characters. Ferryman uses a conservative 10 MiB limit per Discord attachment and splits longer text when needed.

Will a cross-post mention everyone?

No. Ferryman suppresses automatic user, role, and everyone mentions in Discord webhook posts.
