Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy. We do not sell your data. We collect only the information necessary to provide our cross-posting service, including your profile information, posts, and authentication tokens. Your data is used solely to enable crossposting, improve your experience, and provide analytics insights. We do not share your data with third parties except as required to provide the service (e.g., posting to your connected platforms such as Threads, Mastodon, etc.).
Google User Data
If you connect your YouTube account, Ferryman accesses the following Google user data through the YouTube Data API:
- YouTube channel information: Your channel name and ID, used to identify your account and display your connection status.
- YouTube Shorts metadata: Title, description, publish date, and video ID of your recently published YouTube Shorts.
We do not access your private or unlisted videos, watch history, playlists, subscriptions, comments, or any other YouTube data beyond what is listed above. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest and used only to access the data described above. You can revoke access at any time via your Google Account permissions.
Ferryman's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We implement strict security measures to protect your data, including encryption and access controls. You may disconnect your accounts or request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@ferryman.io. You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information.
We comply with all applicable privacy laws (such as GDPR and CCPA) and Meta's platform policies.
By using this service, you agree to this policy.
