01

Feature only what matters

Ferryman imports Clips you intentionally mark Featured instead of every moment from the channel.

02

Distribute automatically

Send eligible new Clips to X and compatible video destinations selected in the flow.

03

Avoid accidental backfills

Only Clips created after the route starts are eligible for automatic distribution.

How it works

Turn the Twitch Featured flag into a distribution trigger

Twitch is an automatic source in Ferryman. Once the route is enabled, Featured Clips can be queued for each compatible destination without another upload.

  1. 01

    Connect the channel owner

Authorize the Twitch account that owns the channel and can manage Clip downloads.

  2. 02

    Create a Twitch-origin flow

Choose X and any compatible video destinations for new Featured Clips.

  3. 03

    Mark Clips Featured

Ferryman picks up eligible post-enable Clips on its recurring checks.

Platform support

What Ferryman supports with Twitch

The exact behavior depends on the content, connected account, destination requirements, and Ferryman plan.

01

Featured Clip discovery

Request only Clips marked Featured on the connected channel.

02

Post-enable cutoff

Avoid importing an old Clip library when a new route is created.

03

Seven-day reconciliation

Recheck the recent window for eligible Clips that Twitch exposes late.

04

X publishing

Send supported Featured Clips into X video posts.

05

Video destinations

Route Clips to compatible Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook workflows.

06

Source-only safety

Twitch never appears as a Ferryman publishing or scheduling destination.

Platform details

Twitch is deliberately source-only

  • Only Featured Clips created after route enablement are eligible.
  • Older Clips are not backfilled by the reconciliation window.
  • Twitch publishing and scheduling are not supported.
  • Destination duration, format, and plan requirements still apply.

Twitch questions, answered

Which Twitch Clips does Ferryman cross-post?

Only Clips marked Featured and created after the flow was enabled are eligible. A seven-day reconciliation window can catch eligible Clips that Twitch exposes later.

Where can Ferryman send Twitch Clips?

Choose X or another supported video destination in the Twitch-origin flow. Each destination's media rules still apply.

Can Ferryman publish content to Twitch?

No. Twitch is a source-only integration. It does not appear as a destination in direct, scheduled, or automatic publishing.

Will Ferryman import my old Featured Clips?

No. The route begins at the time it is enabled and does not backfill Clips created before that cutoff.

How quickly are Featured Clips detected?

Ferryman checks on a recurring schedule, but Twitch can take additional time to expose a newly created or newly featured Clip through its API.
