Cross-Post YouTube Shorts to Facebook Reels
Use an eligible public YouTube Short as the source for short-video publishing to your connected Facebook Page.
How YouTube Shorts to Facebook works
- Connect the YouTube channel that will supply the source videos.
- Connect Facebook and select the Page Ferryman should publish to.
- Choose YouTube Shorts as the automatic video origin and Facebook as a destination.
- Publish a public YouTube video that is fully processed and no longer than 60 seconds.
Automatic YouTube Shorts origin sync is available on Creator, Pro, and Max plans. Ferryman filters for public, processed videos up to 60 seconds before routing the media to the selected destinations.
Facebook publishes to the Page you select
During Facebook setup, you choose a Page you manage. Ferryman uses that Page for short-video publishing. This route does not depend on personal-profile publishing, and it does not assume that a source video meeting YouTube's rules will bypass Facebook's own media requirements.
Use direct creation when YouTube should not be the source
If a video is not already public and processed on YouTube, upload it in Ferryman instead. The direct create and scheduling flows can include both YouTube and Facebook, with immediate or later publishing. YouTube can also receive the upload live or as a private draft. See available plans on the pricing page.

Ferryman publishes short video to the Facebook Page selected during connection setup. Facebook's Page and media requirements still apply.
